I have been in the industrial supply business for close to 40 years. First in a family owned industrial distributorship based in Western New York. Following the sale of our business in 1993 I became the president of ID ONE, the first purchasing cooperative of industrial distributors. In April 2010 I retired from the Board of Directors of First Niagara Financial Group (NASDAQ:FNFG), a $20 billion (in assets) bank and financial services company headquartered in Lockport, NY. I had served on the board since July 1992.
